They want to be them. Roleplaying/pretending is the only way they know how.
Yeah, that part is obvious. There’s no imagination to it. Some of them just seem to revel in “I’m this person -> everyone likes this person -> everyone likes me”
I will never understand why someone would want to pretend/roleplay a real person, such as a celebrity.
And that’s all I’ll say about it.
What does he do, Clarice? What is the first and principal thing he does, what need does he serve by killing? He covets. How do we begin to covet? We begin by coveting what we see every day.
